Alfa Laval screw presses, thanks to their special filter screen design combined with a planetary gearbox, are lightweight and require no foundation reinforcement, reducing installation costs. The vertically divided shield design allows easy access to the equipment during maintenance, thereby reducing downtime and optimizing operating costs.
The Alfa Laval 40 screw press is equipped with a compressed air cleaning system that continuously cleans the filter screen during operation, optimizing dewatering efficiency and reducing polymer consumption thanks to the integrated mixing valve. The device has a processing capacity of up to 10 m³/h of treated sludge or 20 m³/h of activated sludge.
