ALF
ALF is a pressure filter designed to maintain the thermal performance of plate heat exchangers and tube condensers by ensuring that there is no debris or other unwanted material in the water used in secondary cooling systems, through a highly efficient automatic flushing setup.
Secondary cooling systems using low-grade, inexpensive feedwater have become widely accepted in industry, on ships and offshore installations, petrochemical and refinery plants, in power plants and municipal heating and cooling systems. However, such water often contains unwanted particles, organisms and debris that can cause fouling and clog plate heat exchangers or tube condensers used in such cooling setups.
