The W-SIL strainer is a self-cleaning brush strainer that is specially designed to remove coarse particles from process liquids, to protect downstream equipment such as centrifuges, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.
The W-SIL self-cleaning brush filter is ideal for filtering a wide variety of liquids during processing. Any coarse particles or solids trapped in the filter are continuously removed from the filter surface by brushes or scrapers.
These residues are then collected at the bottom of the filter and discharged at appropriate intervals. The W-SIL filter is ideal for filtering products containing solid, non-fibrous particles. The device is available in several different filter sizes and configurations to suit specific applications. The W-SIL filter is available as a frame-mounted unit, complete with an electrical cabinet and solids discharge valve.
